Here is the latest news on the Jerusalem Global Future Conference mooted for June:

One wonders how Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia et al would react to this type of behaviour by Anglican clerics living in the country.
It appears to be Civil War in the Anglican Church at present. At least that's what the article implies.
It's a psychological thing: some people just cannot come to terms with Jews being equal. It's a simple as that.
Various Anglicans have written to me stating that it's a matter of procedure and bureaucracy. But at other times, those same people attack the Catholic Church for the same problem. Motes and beams, of course.
As well as the fact that training colleges for Church of England clergy (in England at least) seem to have stopped teaching Hebrew and regard the Old Testament as a complete and utter irrelevance.
Much like the Jews themselves, of course, and their State.
Irene,
You write:
As well as the fact that training colleges for Church of England clergy (in England at least) seem to have stopped teaching Hebrew and regard the Old Testament as a complete and utter irrelevance.
Is this something new? If so, for how long? If this related to neo-Marcionist movements? Or, is this something else?
Any information you can point me to would be appreciated.
On reading the JPost article, it appears that a wide number of issues are divisive in the Anglican Church. I think that there are also splits in the US with the election of the Gene Robinson in New Hampshire.
